Vedanta Limited has reduced foundry grade pig iron offers by INR 750/t ($10/t). The current offer stands at INR 47,250/t DAP (Delivered at Plant-site) Ahmedabad, SteelMint gathered from sources. Reduction in offers by market peers as well as declining steel prices are the main reasons behind the price revision by the company. Vedanta has pig iron production capacity of 0.83 mn t per annum.
