Daily coal output in China’s largest coal-producing province of Shanxi has been recorded at an average of 3.3 mn t in Nov’21, while total coal output in 2021 is expected to reach 1.2 bn t. The province has maintained more than 100 mn t of output to stablise energy supply since Jul. A total of 104 coal mines in the province have applied for an output capacity increase this year.
