India: Steel tube major cuts ERW pipe prices by INR 2,000/t ($27/t)- Sources

Leading domestic manufacturer of welded pipes and tubes, Tata Steel Ltd. (Tubes division), has decreased structural pipe prices by INR 2,000/t ($27/t) for early Dec dispatches. The current offer is assessed at INR 72,000/t ($972/t) FOR Jamshedpur in eastern India. Prices do not include GST at 18%. The decline in prices can be attributed to falling flat steel prices, SteelMint notes.
