SAIL has scheduled an auction for 5,000 t of prime steel grade pig iron from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh on 8 Dec’21. At the previous auction on 20 Nov, 6,000 t of pig iron was booked at a weighted average price of INR 39,500/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. Bid prices decreased by INR 1,480/t compared to an earlier auction on 9 Nov.
