SAIL has invited Request for Quotation (RFQ) for procurement of 4,100 t (8-18 mm) iron ore pellets (Fe 63% min) for its Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). The due date for submission of bids is 14 Dec’21, which should be valid for 45 days from the tender opening date. Earlier, SAIL had floated a tender for supply of pellets on conversion cost basis utilising beneficiated iron ore slimes from the company’s mines in Chhattisgarh.
