SAIL has scheduled an auction for 1,500 t of steel grade pig iron (by road) from IISCO steel plant in West Bengal on 4 Dec’21. At the previous auction on 1 Dec, the same quantity of 1,500 t of pig iron was booked at a weighted average price of INR 36,200/t exw. Bid prices decreased by INR 4,900/t compared to an earlier auction on 10 Nov.
