Iron ore production by NMDC stood at 3.34 mn t in Nov’21. However, sales dropped 20% on the month to 2.88 mn t in Nov. Total output in FY’22 (Apr-Nov) has been recorded at 24.37 mn t, while sales stand at 24.96 mn t. NMDC clocked iron ore output of more than 34 mn t in FY’21 from its mines in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka.
