About 2,500 t of sponge iron, C-DRI (70% lumps, 30% fines), export deals were reported from Odisha at around $415/t loaded on to rake, equivalent to $440/t CPT Nepal. Also, another deal for a mini rake (1,250 t) of C-DRI lumps (FeM 81-82%, lumps 100%) was confirmed at $435/t loaded on to rake, equivalent to $460/t CPT Nepal. Sponge iron buying interest remains active in Nepal, sources informed.
