India: Jharkhand-based mills conclude 2,700 t billet deals

Around 2,700 t of billet deals were heard concluded by Ramgarh, Jharkhand-based producers of which 700 t of low-carbon material were sold at INR 42,500/t exw to buyers in Punjab’s Mandi Gobindgarh.

• The freight cost to Mandi is at around INR 2,500/t via road.
• The remaining 2,000 t of billets were sold at INR 41,800-42,000/t exw to local buyers.
• 1,200 t of PDRI deals were concluded by sponge producers at INR 28,600-28,700/t exw.
