Ferro Silicon prices in Bhutan are unchanged at the same level W-o-W. Currently, price of Ferro Silicon (grade 70-75) in Bhutan is settled at around INR 76,000/MT. Prices in Bhutan this week started on a quiet note amid slack trade, as Indian and European end-users showed little buying interest. Export offers from Bhutan to Europe remained unchanged at USD 1,370/MT FoB Kolkata.

Similarly, Indian Ferro Silicon market saw no changes in terms of price movement. Market sources reported although demand for the material has increased, prices have remained unchanged. In Guwahati, Ferro Silicon (grade70-75) is being offered at around INR 73,000-73,500 /MT. Similarly in Raigarh, it is stable at INR 75,000/MT for many months. The Ferro Silicon market in India is also down with supply as power tariffs have increased in Meghalaya and few plants have stopped their operations.
Market watchers are uncertain about any price rise although most of them expect that market condition to change soon. Ferro Silicon market has kept steady for almost 2-3 months.
