In two confirmed deals, 7,600 t of US 6900 NAR coal was sold at INR 16,000-16,300/t at Kandla Port compared to INR 15,000/t earlier this week. Prices exclude cess and GST. Following the rise in coal prices, end-users who largely waited for a price reduction, rushed in to book quantities. The price of 6900 NAR US coal is currently at $185/t at Kandla port.
