SAIL conducted an auction for around 1,500 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 0-10 mm, and 3-10mm) on 26 Nov’21 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. The base price was set at INR 68,025/t for 0-3mm material, INR 77,635/t for 0-10mm material and INR 85,495/t for 3-10mm silico manganese. As per latest reports, buyers showed no interest and the auction closed without any bids being placed.
