- SteelMint’s assessment for sponge C-DRI (70% lumps & 30% fines) stands at INR 30,000/t ($400/t) on 26 Nov’21. About 2,600 t of deals were confirmed at INR 29,900-30,000/t exw-Rourkela today.
- Prices are likely to remain supported as coal prices spike by INR 1,600 to INR 12,300/t ex-Gangavaram (RB2 5500 NAR), followed by rise in billet prices by INR 700/t, d-o-d.
