Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 100,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 59.8% Indicative) from the Barsua iron ore mines under the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha. Out of the total quantity, RSP received bids for 20,000 t offered at around INR 4,200/t (ex-mines, including royalty, DMF and NMET), according to reports by market sources.
