India: Sponge iron offers fall by INR 200/t in Bellary

Sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary declined by INR 200/t. However, sponge iron, C-DRI, prices continued to stay flat in today’s trade, as per SteelMint reports.

• Around 5,400 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,900-29,000/t against offers at INR 29,200/t exw.
• SteelMint’s assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 30,200/t ($406/t.) Around 2,400 t of deals were reported today.
