Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan increased slightly by RMB 10/t ($1/t) on 23 Nov’21. Domestic billet prices stood at RMB 4,260/t ($667/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s re-bar futures contract for Jan’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,315/t ($675/t), up by RMB 15/t ($2/t), d-o-d.
