Melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market remain stable today. The trade reference price of Heavy Melting Scrap (HMS 80:20) is assessed at INR 38,200-38,400/t, while attachment scrap prices stand at INR 39,200-39,400/t. As per trader sources, limited availability of scrap in the region and moderate transactions in semi-finished steel kept scrap prices supported on 20 Nov’21.
