India: Sponge iron prices rise marginally in Raipur

Sponge iron offers increased in Raipur today, while spot trading remained limited amidst subdued bids.

• SteelMint’s assessment for pellet-based sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%), rose by INR 100/t to INR 29,500/t exw.
• About 2,000 t of deals were reported at INR 29,500-29,600/t against offers at INR 29,600-30,000/t exw and DAP Raipur.
• DR CLO grade sponge iron offers stood at INR 33,000-33,200/t exw.
