Indonesian thermal coal prices for the different grades fell by $5-12/t this week, as Chinese traders continued to adopt a wait-and-watch approach in anticipation of further decline in prices. Prices of 5000 GAR and 4200 GAR coals fell by $12/t, while 6500 GAR and 3400 GAR grades plummeted by $7/t and $5/t, respectively. A sharp slide was arrested due to supply issues in Indonesia.
