Australian premium low-volatile hard coking coal prices decreased by $2/t to $370/t FOB on 17 Nov’21. Buyers are reportedly hesitant about booking deals. Bids from India for Goonyella branded Australian premium mid-volatile coking coal were assessed at $360/t FOB. Coking coal prices are declining on weak demand outlook in China due to negative steel margins and steady rise in domestic supplies.
