State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 1,000 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 0-10 mm, and 3-10mm) on 17 Nov’21 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. Out of the total quantity offered, buyers booked only 100 t of 0-3 mm material at INR 65,250/t exw. The two previous auctions from Chandrapur had closed without any result.
