India: South African RB2 coal sold at INR 10,300/t at Gangavaram

In a confirmed deal, 3,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal was sold at INR 10,300/t at Gangavaram port, while another 4,000 t was sold at INR 10,500/t at Mangalore port. Limited stocks at major ports continue to keep portside prices supported, informed market participants. However, bulk procurements from sponge iron manufacturers are limited too amidst volatility in international markets.
