Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) held an auction for 4,000 t (two rakes) of steel grade pig iron on 17 Nov’21 from the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in Jharkhand. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 39,600/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. In another auction, SAIL-DSP booked 800 t of pig iron at INR 40,600/t exw.
