Russia: Long steel exports jump 38% on month in Sep’21

Russia’s long steel exports totalled 397,555 t in Sep’21, up 38% against 287,835 t in Aug, according to SteelMint data.

Product-wise exports in Sep:

• Rebar: 320,042 t, up 48% m-o-m
• Structurals: 59,442 t, up 15%
• Wire rod: 18,071 t, down 13% on the month
• The top destinations of Russian steel exports were Kazakhstan, Israel and Belarus.
