Australian premium low-volatile hard coking coal prices have decreased by $0.50/t from CoalMint’s last assessment on 12 Nov’21 to $398.50/t. A steep fall in coking coal prices in China has triggered concerns in ex-China Asian markets. However, most participants expect near-term prices to hold firm in view of the approaching wet season in Australia.
