Vietnam: Monthly scrap imports fall marginally in Oct’21

Vietnam’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 340,000 t in Oct’21, down 3% m-o-m against 350,000 t in Sep.
Japan was the largest supplier with 150,000 t, followed by the USA and Australia with 80,000 t and 30,000 t, respectively.
However, on a y-o-y basis, import volumes have fallen by 38% from 550,000 t in Oct’20.
