SAIL will conduct an auction for 800 t of steel grade pig iron from the Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) on 17 Nov’21. At the previous auction on 12 Nov, 800 t of pig iron was went under the hammer with the base price set at INR 41,500/t. However, buyers showed no interest and the auction closed without any bid being placed.
