Tata Metaliks has reduced basic grade pig iron prices by INR 1,400/t ($19/t), or 3%. Fresh offers are at INR 43,000/t, while foundry grade pig iron offers are stable at INR 47,200/t exw-Kharagpur. Prices are applicable for Kolkata and Howrah.
- Overall, prices are falling on marginal supply uptick amidst falling coal prices. Offers by Durgapur-based producers have fallen by INR 1,700/t, w-o-w, to INR 42,000-42,500/t exw.
