Vietnam: Formosa cuts HRC prices by $40-45/t for Jan’22

Vietnamese steel major Formosa Ha Tinh has cut Jan’22 delivery prices for HRC by $40-45/t, SteelMint learnt from sources.
Offers for skin-passed HRC now stand at around $885/t CIF HCMC basis.
The sharp decline in Chinese HRC offers since the beginning of Nov’21 has led to Formosa slashing offers for Jan delivery, SteelMint notes.
