Russia’s coal production increased by 10%, m-o-m, in Oct’21 to 39.8 mn t, data from the country’s energy department shows. Coal output stood at 355.7 mn t in the Jan-Oct’21 period, an increase of 9%, y-o-y, according to customs data. Robust coal demand in China has compelled Russian miners to ramp up production, CoalMint notes.
