India: Odisha Government to issue Renewal Orders to 10 Mines this Week

Bhubaneswar:  Odisha government may issue in-principle renewal to 10 Iron ore and Manganese mines by Monday. The mines includes 10 captive mines and 1 merchant mine. According to sources, Steel & Mines department of Odisha has already issued in-principle renewal orders to SAIL’s 3 Iron ore mines i.e. Barsuan and Bolani Iron ore mines. The company is expecting to normalize operations within next 15 days.

Out of the 10 captive mines, Tata has 7 mines namely Joda East Iron ore mines, Katamati Iron ore mines, Khandabandh Iron ore mines, Bamebari Manganese mines, Joda West Manganese mines, Guruda & Manmora Manganese mines.

Apart from these captive mines, there is one merchant mine namely Kurmitar of OMC is expected to be renewed by next week.
