State-owned leading long steel producer, Vizag Steel, has invited bids for procurement of 1,333 t (40-100 mm) of ferro silicon (Si 70% min) to be submitted by 19 Nov’21, as per latest reports. The bid-offer validity is for 30 days from the end of the bid date. The highest-priced bid elimination is applicable for the reverse auction qualification rule.
