SAIL’s IISCO unit concluded a reverse auction for 1,050 t of ferro manganese, which was booked at INR 132,650/t. The price was inclusive of GeM portal and GST charges and, after deduction, the net realisation for the seller stood at INR 111,600/t delivered to plant. This price is much lower than the current price of ferro manganese, which stands at INR 120,000/t ex-Durgapur.
