Falling billet prices and lower bids amidst poor buying interest resulted in a sharp fall in Raipur P-DRI prices today by INR 700/t to INR 30,800/t exw.
- 3,500 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 30,600-30,800/t against offers at INR 30,900-31,200/t exw and FOR Raipur.
- Sources expect sponge prices to remain under pressure due to sluggish demand and falling coal, pellet prices.
