India: SAIL increases HRC, CRC list prices by INR 2,000/t ($27)

SAIL has announced a hike of INR 2,000/t ($27) in HRC and CRC list prices for Nov’21, with effect from 01 Nov’21, SteelMint learnt from sources.

Effective prices:

• HRC (IS 2062, 2.5-8mm): INR 71,000-71,500/t ($959-966)
• CRC (IS 513 Gr O, 0.9mm): INR 79,500-80,000/t ($1,073-1081)
• Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST at 18%.

Improved restocking demand and higher raw material prices are the factors cited for the hike.
