IF route rebar prices dropped in the range of INR 300-1,000/t, d-o-d, across major markets in India. In Chennai and Ahmedabad, however, most manufacturers have not opened offers amidst the festive holidays and also due to heavy rainfall for the past few days. Dull buying enquiries in the spot market and declining prices of raw material have resulted in the fall in rebar prices.
