Daily coal output in China hit a multi-year high of 11.9 mn t last week, as per state planner NDRC. The average daily output in the first week of Nov’21 stood at 11.7 mn t, an increase of 1.2 mn t from the last week of Sep. With increasing supplies, coal futures on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange slipped 3%, d-o-d, to RMB 920/t ($143.79).
