Major manganese ore miners South 32 and Comoira have increased prices for Dec’21 shipments owing to increased demand from China following the removal of production restrictions. South 32 has announced that the Dec price of high-grade Australian blocks is $6.2/dmtu, up by $0.4/dmtu, and South African semi-carbonate ore is $4.9/dmtu, up by $0.25/dmtu. Comoira has increased offers for Gabonese blocks by $0.45/t to $5.55/dmtu.
