SAIL has scheduled an auction for 2,000 t (two rakes) of basic grade pig iron for 10 Nov’21 from the company’s Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in Jharkhand. At the previous auction on 3 Nov, 4,000 t of pig iron was offered, with the base price set at INR 43,000/t. However, buyers showed no interest and the auction closed without any bid being placed.
