China: Iron ore imports dip 4%, m-o-m, in Oct’21

China’s imports of iron ore (including pellets) stood at 91.61 mn t in Oct’21 as against 95.61 mn t in Sep, according to General Administration of Customs data. Imports were down 4% on the month due to decline in shipments from key countries due to subdued demand. China’s total imports during Jan-Oct was recorded at 933.48 mn t, down 4% y-o-y.
