Indonesian thermal coal index prices for the different grades fell by a whopping $13-57/t this week as demand from Chinese traders decreased drastically. Prices of 5000 GAR coal fell by $57/t, w-o-w, to $129/t, while 5800 GAR and 6500 GAR prices fell by $53/t and $45/t, respectively. Prices of 4200 GAR and 3400 GAR coals, too, corrected by $46/t and $13/t, respectively.
