SAIL has scheduled an auction for 4,000 t (two rakes) of basic grade pig iron for 3 Nov’21 from the company’s Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL). At the previous auction on 27 Oct, 2,000 t of pig iron was offered with the base price set at INR 44,500/t. However, buyers showed no interest and the auction closed without a single bid being placed.
