South Asia: Imported scrap prices inch down

Imported scrap prices into Pakistan and Bangladesh have fallen on a day-on-day basis.
SteelMint’s assessment for UK-origin containerised shredded scrap stands at $563/t CFR Port Qasim, a decrease of $2/t.
UK/EU-origin shredded scrap prices are at $580/t CFR Chittagong, down $5/t, d-o-d.
The fall in imported ferrous scrap prices is due to the decline in global prices of ferrous scrap.
