India: Sponge iron prices fall slightly in Bellary

Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary fell by INR 100/t on 29 Oct’21. C-DRI prices, too, moved down by INR 100/t in today’s trade.

• Around 1,600 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 33,500-33,600/t against offers at INR 33,800/t exw.
• SteelMint’s price assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 34,100/t ($456) & around 2,200 t of deals were reported at INR 34,000-34,200/t exw.
