Eramet, the second-largest global producer of high-grade manganese ore, raised manganese alloys production by 11%, q-o-q, to 189k t, and reported growth in manganese ore production due to mine expansions in Gabon by 27% on the quarter to 2 m nt. In Sept’21, Eramet signed an agreement with Meridiam and the Gabonese government to acquire a stake at Setrag, operator of the Transgabonese railway line.
