One of the UAE’s leading steel producers, Emirates Steel, has increased rebar offers by $23/t, m-o-m, for Nov’21 due to higher raw material costs, SteelMint understands.
Revised offers for rebar stand at $678/t exw higher compared to $655/t exw in Oct.
Emirates Steel’s annual rebar production is around 2 mn t. Besides construction, its products are widely used in the energy and transportation verticals.
