China: Daily crude steel production drops over 13%, y-o-y, in mid-Oct’21

According to data provided by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in mid-Oct’21 the average daily crude steel output of key steel enterprises was 1.87 mn t, an increase of 15,000 t in comparison with the previous month. However, daily crude steel production declined by 13.7%, y-o-y. Steel output curbs in China expected to be in place till Q1 CY’22.
