Rebar mills in western India slash prices by up to INR 1,000/t

IF-based rebar manufacturers in Maharashtra have slashed prices by INR 500-1,000/t. Current Fe 500 grade rebar (10-25 mm) offers stand at INR 53,200/t exw-Mumbai, while Kalika and Polaad TMT are offering at INR 52,000/t exw-Jalna. Prices decreased due to weak spot demand, with selling pressure increasing due to rising inventories at mills, sources shared with SteelMint.
