India’s rebar production increases 3%, m-o-m, in Sep’21 – JPC data

India’s rebar production stood at 2.56 mn t in Sep’21, up 3% m-o-m and 11% y-o-y, according to provisional data released by JPC.

Company-wise production

• JSPL’s rebar output stood at 116,000 t, while Tata Steel recorded production at 196,000 t.
• JSW Steel produced 109,000 t, up 15% on month against 95,000 t in Aug.
• SAIL produced 190,000 t and RINL 158,000 t.
