China: Ferrous scrap imports down almost 50% on month in Sep’21

China imported 20,519 t of ferrous scrap in Sep’21.
Imports by China fell sharply by about 50% on a monthly basis as against 40,540 t in Aug, as per Steelmint data.
Japan retained its position as the leading ferrous scrap exporter to China with 11,750 t followed by South Korea and Canada at 2,170 t and 1,621 t, respectively.
